I just viewed a video of animals being tortured and skinned alive. It was one of the most horrific things I have ever seen. I suspect it is out of China, they were torturing raccoons, dogs, etc..
To view the desperation in the eyes as life was draining out of their little bodies was just the worst thing in the world. The thought that someone has so little regard for life is beyond me. I understand the food chain, I am not a vegetarian but the senseless abuse of these poor creatures makes me angry.
I guess a good comparison would be M Vick torturing and fighting dogs here in the U. S.. 23 months for the cruelty he administered to these dogs is just a slap on the wrist. I would lock him up for at least a decade, make sure he doesn't have any children that he can teach his twisted values to, and make sure he does not play sports ever again.
I think at this time of the year it is a good time to reflect and donate your money and time to an animal rights organization. I make donations every year and this has decided where my $$ are going.

I am so tired of these republicans defending marriage as an institution between a man and a woman!
As yet another republican bites the dust for taking a young man to his hotel room to view gay porn and HAVE gay sex we have Mitt trying to tell us its their way or the highway! I have to say the republicans are dropping like flys! How many scandals has it been? And have you noticed how quiet it becomes after the scandal? You barely hear anything after a couple days.
Now if the democrats are smart they will be keeping tabs on everything that has been happening in the republican party. I mean if the democrats can't pull off a win in 2008 then they might as well fold up and leave town!
The timing is perfect its almost as if the republicans want the democrats to win! HMMMM.
I have to say that I understand why these men cheat or try and solicit sex from other men having been in the closet myself a few decades ago but what really pisses me off is that when you look at their voting record you see that they continually oppress the gay agenda! To protect themselves and their office they support bigotry and step on equal rights. It just makes me crazy.
I wonder how these men who got caught are getting along with their wives now? I don't think gay marriage or domestic partnerships are the problem here, I think it just might be honesty with your mate and with yourself!

Droopy Pants

Ok, I have been reading about droopy pants and the people who want to make wearing them against the law! While not a fan of that particular fashion I think passing a law is only going to make this horrible practice of wearing pants around your ass cheeks more prevalent!
Ok, it originated in prison. Why anyone would want to take fashion tips from someone who has been incarcerated is beyond me. Whats next orange jumpsuits w/out underwear?
Upscale restaurants serving prison chow? It could happen, people are cattle and WILL follow the latest trend.
First of all in this day and age where health internally and physically is important, why would you choose to wear droopy pants below your ass with your undwearwear sticking out above?
It does nothing for your body image, usually and maybe I am living in the wrong area for this, the underwear are non-de-script ugly boxers from the Gap! The bottom line is that it looks like there has been a load dropped in their denim diaper!
The other argument I read about is that by outlawing these pants will take away the persons individuality, well I have news for you.....if everyone is wearing them you are no longer an individual or a novelty! That's the thing about cattle they want to be just like the next cow in line!
Anyway I have hated and cursed this fashion trend for years. Lets see some clothes that fit especially if you are out in public. (Do not even get me started on muffin tops!)
I know that people who wear this crap are bucking the establishment, we have all been there! Really we have! its nothing new! Just a new decade.
I know I am just blowing air here and I know that soon I will see another trailer park fashion out on the streets of our cities!

I have no special skills except for life training which I think has given me great coping skills. Lets face it, there are a lot of people out there who have no coping/logical skills.
I have been an addict, in the closet, depressed, the list goes on. However I put an end to all of these horrible vices, and a lot of it due to brutal honesty directed towards me!
I have always had an opinion, always been on the fringe. Which is why I like Lynda Barry's rendition of Poodle With A Mohawk sketch. I have felt like that for a lot of my life, even a little bit now....
